Grease machine. Wash trucking hop start to drop trucks at 6:45. Trucks go out of job wtrong way and track mud on lakeshore drive. We had to go and sweep mud up and clean road during rush hour. Took 1 hour to clean up mess. Got set up to lay pipe and set 60' of 48" ADS before lightning and rain at 1:30. John E hauled 3 loads of trash off. Stayed to talk to wash men about dirt. Trucks app. 20 loads out today.
Continued laying 48" HDPE from existing pond to existing box culvert. Back filled and compacted pipe and safed up due to rain. Rained out at 2:00. Paul Walsh began excavation of pond at south end.
Beau called and asked about the pond situation. I told him it was raining, the material was wet and operator was not mixing the material properly. I told him I would get with the operator and show him what to do so excavation can continue and jobsite buying the material will keep accepting it. He also said Bob would have the dozer back up and running this week.
Problems: contractor receiving excavated material did not like it. The hoe operator wasn't mixing it enough with sand.
