Henry’s unique means and methods have made TSI an innovator in cleaning lakes, canals, and marshlands without damage to their ecosystems. He has researched and collected specialized equipment capable of removing debris and working in practically any location without harm to the environment. His expert methodology in regards to lake bank restoration and lake improvement projects have made TSI the outstanding choice in lake and pond remediation. He is a brilliant problem solver, and loves to meet a challenge with precision and skill.

Whether he is building a recreational park on a conservation area, developing a spoil island within an inlet, or devising an access plan for tight golf or country club communities, he excels in the most complex scenario.

Robert Tyson - Managing Member

  • National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) Certified

  • FDOT MOT Intermediate Certified

Mr. Tyson excels at expediting contracts through preliminary preparation to eliminate problems and challenges before they arise. He has the ability to foresee difficult situations and takes action to present solutions to the project owner before they impact the public or local homeowners.

As wetland mitigation has increased in Florida, he has managed most of TSI's wetland restoration projects. This experience is crucial for sensitive ecological projects.

Mr. Tyson’s ability to implement and build ideas from concept to reality has resulted in the addition of our custom-designed specialty equipment. These custom-built instruments allow TSI to work safely in sensitive areas while leaving a minimal footprint.

Theresa F. Cauthen, P.E. - Project Engineer

Theresa joined TSI in 2015 and quickly became an integral asset of the TSI team. She uses her skillful mathematics abilities and 13 years of marine engineering experience to deftly estimate projects of varied size and scope. Theresa is a gifted writer, preparing detailed bid packages and maintaining healthy communications with clients. She consistently tracks reporting, materials, manpower, scheduling, budgeting, and other project components as necessary and has increased production while eliminating waste on job sites. As a meticulous multi-tasker, she simultaneously manages and supervises most projects in our South Florida areas, as well as leading day-to-day operations within the Punta Gorda office. In her free time Theresa volunteers with young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) programs, a greyhound rescue and adoption non-profit, as well as Southwest Florida Critical Mass, a cycling enthusiast and safety community.

  • FL Dept. of Agriculture & Consumer Services: Licensed Pesticide Applicator - Pesticides Certification for Aquatic Pest Control, Right-of-Way Pest Control, Natural Areas Weed Management, and Demonstration & Research.

Mr. Lee has worked with the owners of TSI for the past 15 years. His experience in the aquatic field sets him apart as an important resource in the marine construction aspects of the company. He has primarily worked in southwest Florida managing jobs in derelict vessel removal, navigation contracts, tree removal, aquatic control contracts and exotic vegetation eradication.

Amy Hartman - Administrative Manager

  • Varied and well-rounded management background in industries including hospitality, non-profits, and restaurants

TSI has largely benefited from Ms. Hartman's skills and administrative expertise. She is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring smooth transitions between jobs and optimal operations during contract performance. She is a key facilitator for researching bid solicitations, record keeping, payroll, negotiation of contracts, and customer relations. Amy also serves as a liaison between subcontractors, owners, employees, engineers, and TSI Managing Members.  Her consistency and attention to detail has helped TSI grow into the flourishing entity it is today.
