Emergency Repair

Emergency situations require swift, careful planning and a deliberate, experienced response. The Canaveral Port Authority called us when a $7,000,000 crane fell through the concrete next to their dock. We quickly determined a plan of action to stabilize the undermined area and removed the concrete dock to a safe location. All loose and sloughed materials were removed as we began working around in-ground utilities including a transit water main. Once all unsuitable materials had been removed, we installed a stabilized rock mix in lifts to insure proper compaction and stabilization. We worked on this project for 22 straight hours as the dock was active with refrigerated containers waiting to unload.
