Mr. Tyson has been in the Marine Construction industry for the past 15 years. His skill level in remote areas and adaptation to conditions/environment make him superior in his field. From lake clearing to dredging and exotic removal: his skills give him the upper hand on most jobs.
Mr. Tyson has an existing working relationship with many local municipalities and public works departments. He also works well with homeowners, engineers and its owners. His strongest points are expediting contracts through preparation before-hand to eliminate problems before they arise. His safety record is impeccable. Mr. Tyson has certifications in Intermediate MOT and FAA certification which enables him to do emergency work at a moment’s notice anywhere in Florida. Mr. Tyson’s extensive background in general construction allows him to complete many aspects of projects, such as Emergency Repair for the Canaveral Port Authority.
As a Owner and a Project Manager, Mr. Tyson has the ability to foresee difficult situations coming and take action and present solutions to the project owner before they impact the public or the local homeowners. He also has vast experience in underground utilities with knowledge of pump dewatering, stream restoration as well as stream flow and navigational issues
Mr. Tyson has successfully re-routed streams to slow or redirect damaging currents without interfering with the volume of the stream. His hands—on approach as an owner and a operator make him an extreme asset to the TSI team. Mr. Tyson has been acting in a managerial aspect for the past 4 years and has a great attitude and approach when dealing with the public. Mr. Tyson has overseen the St. Lucie County Swale and Pipe Replacement contact for the past 3 years with no safety issues. He brought both the Emergency and Maintenance contract for St. Lucie County in below cost.
Mr. Tyson uses the best management practices for erosion and turbidity control to prevent violation of state water quality and to prevent impact to the wetland and surface water. He over sees the erosion control with use of turbidity barriers, silt screens and Geo bales as needed.
Mr. Tyson has an excellent knowledge of the operation and practices of all of the equipment used in all phases of Marine Construction. He has completed many jobs in Florida in environmentally sensitive areas and wetland restoration projects.
