Bank Stabilization

TSI has completed emergency repair on more than 3100 feet of bank washout. The project consisted of debris removal and bank stabilization with conditioned soil that was removed from the washout and compacted to 95%. With a cut for the toe, the geo-fabric was locked in from the bottom to the top. Toe Boulders were installed to protect flow-way erosion. Bedding stone was installed to protect the geo-fabric. We installed bank & shore for  the top 18”. Rip rap bags protect the top slope and were installed with rebar. This job also had 1500 feet limited access through some of the most prestigious homes in Kissimmee. Most of the access of these areas was by water, Menzi muck, and track dump trucks.

Additionally, TSI has completed more than 20 miles of bank, canal, and land restoration while supplying and installing riprap, geo-textile mat, sheet piling, TRM, and articulated concrete block mats.
